As a parent, I am very concerned about Doug Ford's proposal to rezone the greenbelt. This will have a huge impact on Ontarians, as it would mean less green space for children to explore and play in, more air and water pollution, and an increased risk of flooding due to the destruction of natural areas. This loss of green space would also have an adverse effect on the mental and physical health of children, as green spaces have been proven to reduce stress and improve physical activity levels. Ultimately, this proposal would be detrimental to the well-being of Ontarians, and I strongly oppose it.
