The premier promised not to touch the greenbelt.
Opening up the greenbelt will not solve the problem of AFFORDABLE housing. The developers do not build affordable houses, they build 3000 sq ft houses.
All these people will have to drive from these faraway communities to get to work.
How will this help us meet our environmental reduction goals?
The government needs to work with communities to increase the density within each community such as 4, 6, and 8-plex apartments/condos. Many of these communities run transit systems with very low ridership.
