This bill will not help address Ontario’s housing shortage.
Many communities already have plans in place. The government would do better to work with them rather than taking away revenue and causing property taxes to be raised.
We should preserving or farmland and natural areas.
Developer friends of the PC party buying protected property only months before the bill was tabled is extremely suspicious.
Premier Ford promised at least 20 times the Greenbelt would not be touched.
