How about better control of who is buying properties (foreign investors) and how landlords manage the buildings they own? How about penalizing those who own empty properties? Or increasing taxes on those with multiple dwellings?
Just down the street from me there is a home that had previously been rented but has now sat empty for over 5 years! It has 2 dwellings that are not being used at all -in a nice neighbourhood close to schools and shopping in the GTA!

Food prices continue to soar, how is selling off our farmland going to help anyone other than investors?

Our water is already so contaminated and our conservation authorities struggling to manage flooding within populated areas. Messing with the Greenbelt is going to severely alter our watersheds and cause catastrophic results down the road.

These are just a few reasons the government needs to protect these sacred spaces!
LEAVE THE GREENBELT ALONE!!!
