To whom it may concern,

I am strongly opposed to the governments plan to develop into the green belt. Aside from the fact that it should be well known the need to protect as much green space as possible given the rapidly changing climate.

I believe it is irresponsible and reprehensible that the government is blatantly working to help increase the personal wealth of certain property developers. It has become clear that the government is not interested in the general good, but in ensuring the top 1% maintain or further their wealth by enforcing rules lobbied in their favour. Certainly the news of certain property developers buying green belt land prior to the governments announcement at a 21% interest indicated prior agreements.

In summary, I believe the government strongly is not doing this for the benefit of the general populace of Ontario but for the benefit of their “friends”. And as such this should not be moved forward
