I am extremely disappointed that this provincial government has chosen financial gain for developers over true opportunity to build affordable housing in locations that will not require constructing new infrastructure.
Greenbelt land was designated after significant scientific studies and extensive public consultation and cannot just be whittled away without significant justification and extensive public consultation.
We are in the midst of a climate crisis. Unnecessary conversion of our Greenbelt to development is unconscionable. What legacy will you leave to your grandchildren and future generations?
