This is an incredibly destructive proposal, to develop and build on critical natural ecosystems and farmland that keep us and fellow creatures healthy.
A quick dollar through development is not going to provide life support to the planet.
Unfortunately, this legislation is also misleading with regards to attempting to provide a solution to the housing crisis. We do not need more suburban sprawl requiring infrastructure and highways and roads. We need intensification within the urban boundary and deeply affordable housing units within the city where people have access to the transit systems.
I hope you will drop the proposal to allow building on the greenbelt.
