I am physically sickened by the recent attempts of the Doug Ford Government to take away large portions of the protected Greenbelt for profit for a few wealthy developers and, very likely, himself. The ego and entitlement of Doug Ford and his business friends is astounding. This land is needed for farming and for protected species. Either Doug Ford’s intelligence is greatly lacking or his greed is beyond measure. To do this in the name of housing is ridiculous. There are far better solutions for affordable housing than this. Nothing about this is affordable and sells out the future for our children. Hands off. Get your hands, and the hands of the overly wealthy developers off the Greenbelt. There are thousands that will place themselves in front of bulldozers for this. Stop now.
