This proposal is a terrible idea. It is not backed by science. It ignores professional consultation. It is completely directed at improving the lives of a few OPC donors and friends of the current premier. The blatant disregard for the people of Ontario is clear when it comes to this proposal. The first thing recommended in Ontarios Housing Affordability Task force report was greater density, especially near highways. Sprawl into the green belt is the last thing we need. Better more efficient use of existing land and infrastructure is more affordable for the province and economical for the taxpayers
