The public is not convinced that recent purchases of Greenbelt land by Mr Rice with an $80 million loan is just mere land speculation. This developer must have been tipped off putting other developers at a disadvantage. The public is also aware that more than enough land has been set aside through official plans for housing development for the next 30 years. Why do we need more urban sprawl with the cost of infrastructure (roads,services,etc.) putting more pressure on our tax base when density within existing communities can solve our housing crisis without incurring these costs. There’s only 1 reason. To make PC donors rich!
