I am not in favour of opening up the greenbelt for development.

This will not help with the housing crisis. Only the lowest density, most expensive housing (single family homes) will be developed on that land. We need to focus on more high density affordable housing so that everyone can afford a place to live. We have the land in what's available now we just need to use it better
