The PPS does not prohibit Drainage Act works in PSWs. The DART protocol is a piece of junk. Rural farmers struggle with the cost of drainage works where the Conservation Authorities will not permit the work to proceed without expensive studies and lawsuits.
Please bring into force the CA changes to remove the permitting requirements for drainage act works with PSWs etc. This needs to happen Jan 2023.
The CAs need to be mandated back to their original intention: the prevention of flooding.
Sure hope Premiere Ford acts quickly on this. I have read the proposed legislative changes to the CA act but it needs to be broght into force and not just sit there for many months.
