This bill is ridiculous. Why are you destroying what people have worked to create and what will ensure a decent future for our children? The only purpose of you bill is to dismantle. Your job is to govern and to lead - that means doing what's right for the people (all the people, not just a few) and it means actually DOING what's right for the people (not simply SAYING "for the people").

The PEOPLE of Ontario truly do WANT climate change action. I WANT a climate change plan to reduce emissions. I want Ontario to put a price on pollution. Polluters should pay for their emissions so that money goes back to real Ontarions. I want the government to reflect my own personal actions to reduce my carbon footprint - I'm making an effort at home and so should you.

I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. We need to stand with the rest of the world; not be an international sore spot.

I would love for Ontario to be 100% powered by clean energy. Setting a target date (say, 2050) makes sense. I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions.

If you are truly "for the people" then you need to step up to the plate and act like it. People need real climate change action to protect our current living world and its future.
