The province’s cap and trade system is an excellent market based mechanism to ensure that Ontario’s economy moves towards a clean growth economy and to make sure the provinces thrives and has good jobs in a carbon constrained future. It also brings about many other co-benefits such as less air pollution, less costs for businesses as they become more energy efficient, and new businesses created around innovative technologies that are created to reduce GHGs.

Also reversing decisions like this means all the investments that companies have made are for nothing. It causes uncertainty for investors.

For the economy and the environment please do not repeal this act.
