This proposal is absurd and agains the best public interest.

In an era of increasing global climate change and flooding events, we need to be increasing our protections and regulations, enhancing and expanding our Conservation Authorities and not destroying them, the current safety regulations and the proven safeguards that our citizens and communities depend on.

Please do not proceed with the changes, return to the drawing board and rethink future policy. This is in the total opposite direction that Ontario needs to be heading and is opposite of the actions of most progressive governments around the world preparing for climate change and the future.
