I believe that your proposal to scrap the cap and trade program as it is now is a capricious decision aimed at pleasing economic interests that do not align with the realities of climate change. The future of our children is being endangered by malice and unreasonable political decisions that your government will have to account for later on. Scientific studies were considered when the previous plan was approved. Public input was provided for the benefit of all of us. Premier Ford I ask you to be responsible to the people of this province by offering a better clean environment now and for future generations. Rely on proven science.
