Re: ERO number 019-6708, Dwayne Andrew Wilson operating as The Stool Bus
Dear Client Services and Permissions Branch,
Upon reviewing the proposal submitted by Dwayne Andrew Wilson operating as The Stool Bus, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation requests that this proposal not be approved by the province, until the completion of a hydrological assessment to determine the implications of sewage spreading on regional hydrology and watersheds.
The proposed commercial sewage dumping site is located within the traditional territory of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation and within 20km of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation Reserve (COTTFN). It is our understanding that there is at least one water course passing through this property, within the Thames River watershed.
As Chippewas of the Thames First Nation’s drinking water is drawn from the Thames River, we are requesting additional environmental impact studies be completed to assess and to ensure there are no impacts to the community’s source of drinking water and the regional environmental health.
Regards,
Emma Young
Senior Environment Officer
Chippewas of the Thames First Nation
