Absolutely unsupportive of this mess. The Growth Plan is a key land use planning document that has specified density targets that requires intensification, a key tool to impact climate change, improve community scale development and limit urban sprawl. The proposal to remove affordable housing from the PPS is another demonstration of how the government is intertwined with the development industry, catering to their whims and not focusing on the public interests. Where are the planners standing up for public interest here?
Continual changes to the planning framework impact municipalities and their ability to actually get things on the ground built.
