The past is not the way…

The past is not the way forward, either environmentally or economically. I'm truly horrified at the plan to go backwards on climate change by way of this misguided legislation. Our province is moving against the tide of expert global findings - warnings, in fact, of the dangers of not reducing greenhouse gases - and of economic studies pointing to the growth potential in new energy technologies and research. There's so much to lose - including the safe future of our grandchildren - and so very little to gain other than propping up outdated and narrow industries.
