The climate is changing due…

The climate is changing due to anthropogenic activities. I know this to be the case, not only from the extensive world-wide documentation, but also as a result of my own expertise in assessing flood risk. As individuals, as a society, as a nation, and as citizens of the world we have a responsibility to the planet and its future to act responsibility in addressing our collective roll in the greatest risk to this planet since humans began to walk this beautiful planet. Cap and Trade is a creative and effective program that by definition will spawn innovation and feed the growth of well paying long term jobs, while at the same time reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Unless the Government of Ontario has a plan that will be more effective than Cap and Trade, then I believe that they are unwise to discontinue this program. One hundred years from now we ill be judged on what we have done to this planet and what we could have done to preserve it. Let us be judged to have made the right decision, both on Cap and Trade and climate change in general.
