I am adamantly opposed to this Bill. Cap and trade is a proven method to reduce carbon emissions and this is NECESSARY to save our environment and mitigate climate change. Ontario is already not doing enough to combat climate change and this Bill is completely wrong-headed.

The NOBEL PRIZE was just awarded to the economist who developed the carbon tax. A jury of his peers deemed his research as ground breaking and worthy of one of the world's most prestigious accolades. Ontario will be a global embarrassment if this legislation is enacted.

Ontario must not go backwards when it comes to environmental policy. This government must not needlessly waste tax dollars fighting federal legislation in court.

Bill 5 should not go forward. Keep cap and trade. DO MORE to address climate change.
