I am totally against…

I am totally against cancellation of Cap and Trade. Global warming is a scientifically proven fact that is not magically going to go away. All countries must take measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At the moment Canada is not meeting targets that have been set and cancelling Cap and Trade is a step in the wrong direction.

While I am old enough that I will not live to see the extreme consequences of global warming, I am committed enough that I do not mind seeing increased tax dollars going towards efforts tot reduce GHG's. No matter which party is in power in industrialized countries ,the leaders of that country should follow a common world wide goal to slow down global warming.
