I am very concerned that the government seems to be dismantling all attempts to address climate change. I am worried about my own future and also the future of my child. We need politicians who care about what is happening to our environment. We need to have a real climate change plan to reduce emissions, but I don't see any moves towards addressing climate change in any of the recent government cancellations of current programs. We need to put a price on pollution and then use that money to invest in climate change and green initiatives. We need legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement and we need Ontario to be the leader in such positive change rather than pretending that climate change is not happening and turning away as things get worse.
