Please keep the cap and trade program!! The recently dismantled cap and trade program was an affordable and guaranteed way to reduce greenhouse gas. It is more important than ever to have strong leadership from our governments to reduce greenhouse gas and try to save our planet. Ontario can be a role model for other provinces and countries around the world. I want my children and grandchildren to live on a healthy planet. The IPCC released a report just days ago issuing a "final call" to governments - without bold action NOW, a global increase of 1.5 degree celsius will come in only 12 years. There is no time to wait!

Inaction will be costlier to business, governments and everyday people. We are already feeling the impacts - major flooding in Ontario, devastating tornados in Ottawa and 30+ degree days in October!! Please put aside partisan politics and be the leaders we need you to be!
