As a farmer, this is a terrible piece of legislation that will fragment farmland, ruin farms, and making farming even more difficult for new and young farmers. There is a very small and finite amount of prime farmland in this country, and you’re trying to turn it all into sprawling suburbs and awful ‘country estate’ housing. Very short sighted.
