I am concerned with the proposal to maintain policies and existing standards that relate to the Greenbelt. I am asking for the government's consideration to permit a process to refine or re-designate Specialty Crop Areas at the local level. This would address a current gap in the provincial policy framework. This pertains to lands designated as such in both the Greenbelt Plan 2017 and the Growth Plan.
