Re: Revised definition of a 'road' for planning purposes. Suggested changes will help improve the quality of roads inventories and will add clarity to nuanced discussions about the use of old road beds during forest operations. These changes are strongly supported. One further recommendation - these new defining characteristics of a road should further be amended into supporting guides, such as the Stand and Site Guide, to dovetail with prescribed protection for values (e.g. HPS stream AOCs).
