Please reconsider the size…

Please reconsider the size and scope of the Bigwind Provincial Park development plan. I don't think the park is nearly large enough to handle the 300 sites that seem to be proposed.

I am very concerned about the impact to Pine Lake. My family has had a cottage at the end of Fraserburg Road for more than 70 years, and we greatly value the protected Crown Land on the south side of our lake. I am worried about traffic and noise if the Fraserburg Road is used for access. I am worried about boating traffic if people start accessing a full service park from the Pine Lake side. And I am worried about losing the small portion of undeveloped Pine Lake.

I support stopping the development of Bigwind Provincial Park altogether. Failing that, I ask that all development be on the east side of the park and no access be developed that would lead to Pine Lake. We're a small, quiet lake and having thousands of campers flood in would forever change the nature of the lake.
