I am a resident of Bracebridge dating back to 1959. I whole-heartedly support the development of Bigwind Provincial Park. Where once Muskoka had a large number of campground and cabin businesses open to the travelling public, most of these properties have been given over to fractional ownership, larger developments or private ownership. The opportunities for city dwellers and travellers to access nature and water has been severely curtailed over the years, particularly in south Muskoka. The facilities proposed by the Bigwind development will help to provide greater access and enjoyment for people and will provide a much needed economic stimulus to the local area. While there may be opposition from some groups or resident there is plenty of space to go around and I trust that environmental factors have been given great consideration. I look forward to the grand opening. Thanks.
