The cap and trade program is a good and effective one that I believe is important to continue. Cancelling would be a mistake and a large step backwards. We need to hold polluters accountable, reward those who mitigate environmental damage, and move forward on green energy jobs to grow our economy. Cap and trade does all these things very well. Please carefully consider the long term when making your decision and think about the future environment you are creating for our grandchildren. We have a moral responsibility to take the best care possible of our world.
