The City of Toronto has been reviewing proposed changes to O. Regs. 63/16 and 387/04 as described in ERO number 019-6853 (streamlining permissions for water takings for construction site dewatering activities and foundation drains). Numerous Divisions and Units within the City of Toronto are involved in developing comments and are very close to a final submission. Unfortunately due to complexity of comments and time required for data collection we will not be able to make the October 30/2023 submission deadline. We are asking for a brief extension of two weeks (Nov 13th). We apologize for the delay but the extended time will afford us the opportunity to provide detailed information regarding the proposed changes. The City of Toronto is appreciative of this opportunity to comment on the streamlining of water takings and looks forward to working with the Province.
