This is an incredibly important Bill, and necessary for the future of our children. It is beyond my comprehension why, despite all the evidence proving that climate change is very much a reality, the current provincial government feels it is worth disposing of this Bill just to save a few dollars. The current government seems to be very preoccupied with the here and now - but is not considering how much money they are wasting by trying to remove this Bill - which is a necessity and will need to be re-instated. Canada is supposed to be a proactive country - we take steps to ensure the safety and longevity of our tomorrow. It is an absolute shame that important initiatives built to decrease our greenhouse emissions and decrease our footprint on our country's ecological landscapes and resources, is being brushed aside to appease the ill-thought-out ideas of our current provincial head of government. I truly hope and pray that Ontarians find their voices and step up to save our province, country and our planet.
