Please regulate invasive plant sale and mandate all registered landscapers and designers to avoid specifying invasive plants in their designs in order to maintain their license. Control of invasive plants after they are out of control is not a cost effective strategy and must compete for funding from our limited tax dollars. As our climate changes, more non-native plants become invasive. It's very confusing to the average gardener what plants to avoid. We need a single source of region specific invasive plants information available for education purposes and a government organization responsible for maintaining it and enforcing regulations.
