Removing the cap and trade…

Removing the cap and trade system without another market based solution in place is irresponsible. The IPCC report is unequivocal — we must remain at a warning of only 1.5 degrees or face catastrophic damage to our ecology. To cancel this and resist a carbon tax with only a vague notion of creating another plan (with no timeline, no sign of enforcement) is to directly contribute to what the IPCC warns will be several million deaths. This is short sighted, selfish and irresponsible to current and future residents of Ontario.
