This is a small town with so much charm. Having a busy stinking dump right outside of town will destroy this gem of not only Chatham-Kent but of Ontario. This community has worked tirelessly to put Dresden on the map and make it a very desirable place to live, raise a family and visit. This will not only be devastating to the citizens of Dresden but to all of Chatham-Kent. Dresden is also surrounded by prime farm land. What will the impact be to the surrounding area farmers that depend on good quality soil? What will the impact be on the tomato processing factory in town that is supplied by the local farmers and their land? The municipality of Chatham-Kent and the province of Ontario need to put a stop to this and move sites such as these to unpopulated, unusable land far away from our towns.
