How is this even being considered? Being less than a km away from a thriving town... This move would cripple our town's economy and home values..... people will flee by the masses. The last thing I want to smell when I walk out of my house in the morning is the mountain of waste that will be wafting into town, not to mention the fact that the proposal is for 24/7 operations!? 6000 tons of waste per day?? I would be shocked if our roads could even handle that type of traffic, let alone the nuisance noise, and the risk of negative impacts to our agriculture.
