As a Dresden resident and homeowner of a century farm that has been in the family for generations this would be a catastrophic decision for the beautiful town of Dresden. Our water was contaminated from the Wind turbines project and this could potentially affect our land and air quality. The smell is absolutely atrocious near Blenheim and London because of those dumps. Just on the weekend driving past London on the 401 I stated that I did not know how people could live anywhere near that due to the pungent smell. If this is to help support the amount of garbage coming out of York and the GTA it should be put around those cities. The Carbon taxes are making the cost of living too high and the irony of you trucking garbage 3 hours away is not a viable solution while the rest of the Province and country is forced into making more carbon/environmental wise decisions.
