My concerns are as follows:

1. The original site, what was its intent / is the new use of the site online with that intent?

2. Im concerned about the environmental impacts. The site is in close proximity to the Sydenham River, and a creek which flows directly to the River is on the site. The Sydenham River is home to numerous at risk species.

3. Nearby properties are on water wells, I'm concerned that this activity will risk lechate contamination of the wells. One property owner also states their well has been contaminated with methane since exploratory wells were put in on site.

4. This project will see waste moved from London, KW, and the GTA in significant quantities. For CO2 minimization, wouldn't a site North of London make more sense?

5. This puts a landfill immediately outside a thriving small town. Effectively all residents have already lost equity in their properties, particularly those immediately adjacent to this site. How will a compensation mechanism be established, and how will the company compensate residents?

6. The traffic load is an immense impact on the surrounding community. Has the MoT blessed hundreds of trucks a day going past our schools that are on highways with uncontrolled crossings that are already unsafe? Are additional noise dampening and air quality measures being required?
