As a local resident this is unacceptable. Something as serious as a category 3 taking has obvious negative impacts on the surrounding environment. I will not support any member of government at any level that would be so reckless as to allow the use of over 6 million litres of water a day to facilitate the production of gravel. We need to be protecting our fresh water for the well being of the people in our local community.
