I have lived in the area my whole life and also own property on Molly's creek up stream of the proposed site. This creek regularly goes over its banks in spring thaws and also with increased weather events that we have seen in the recent years. Where the proposed site is going Molly's creek is a natural waterway that dumps into the Sydenham river that is considered one of the cleanest in Ontario due to the lack of industry on it and there are several endangered species that live in this water way. Due to the close proximity of the site to Mollys creek and a tributary that runs just to the south of the property it is a concern that the company will not be able to properly control storm run off or leaching into these waterways.
