First off we need to look at what's ahead of in the use of this area. This company states that 1,800 tons of What? will be store inside: Why? for how long and who will be responsible for these chemicals after 2032?.
This company says they want to accept industiral waste from building tear down and/or rebuild: what about the fiberglass and lead and other dangerous waste.
This land that they want to put the Toronto Dump on should be left as farm land with other areas in Ontario. We have been told that waste should be looked after by the people who make the waste not handed over to others, I understand the problem since the U.S.A. do not want Toronto's waste any more and the need to store it in Ontario. The distance it needs to be sent from the 401 to Dresden makes no sense, damage to our roads, interference with farmers using the roads with slow traffic will be very dangerous:
