This is a complete waste of taxpayer money. You should not do this. Isn't our debt and deficit high enough already?

These technologies need to stand for themselves. They either make sense economically or they don't. The government should not be subsidizing this.

Have you studied how much environmental impact an electric vehicle makes vs. a clean diesel vehicle? I have read studies that show that there is more energy expended creating more environmental damage by electric vehicles than there would be with a diesel.
