I am vehemently opposed to this omnibus bill. The idea of allowing expropriating of land without environmental assessment is totally irresponsible. Schedule 1 must be rewritten.

Schedule 3 is an appalling attack on municipal authority, and will intensify the increase of urban sprawl and loss of farmland.

Schedule 5, an attack on carbon pricing, removes our last chance at slowing the advance of climate change. Totally irresponsible.

I cannot see how a government that supports such policies can possibly succeed at the next election.
