The long-known science of climate change makes clear that we, all residents of the planet Earth are at a precarious point as our reliance upon fossil fuels propels the world into ever-more troubling environmental conditions. I believe that a price on carbon will be a huge motivator to help polluters, both large and small, take steps to change our ways and to foster development of less harmful energy production. We, our children, our grandchildren and all future generations of humans and other species need better leadership from our elected leaders. Scrapping the carbon tax with Bill 4 is a bad decision. Please reconsider.
