I do not object to changes that demonstrate improvement or a move in a better direction. Since Climate Change is at a critical juncture for our world, we have no business cancelling a program until there is another one ready to put in its place. The government has every right to it's opinion that cap and trade is not good enough - but to cancel a program that is providing SOME good outcomes in reducing our carbon footprint as a Province and leaving the Province with no plan in place is worse than nothing. This government needs to build, not dismantle, in order to make a better future for Ontario.
While I can appreciate a difference of opinion regarding a situation that has multiple options of action, the Conservative Party has had ample time in opposition to come up with a plan for Carbon reduction that is indeed better. To not put that plan in place immediately is unconscionable. Partisan rhetoric is irrelevant here. This is about good management. So.proove.it!
