I believe it is a waste of taxpayers money to completely scrap this bill. The Ontario government has spent a great deal of money and time create the carbon tax bill. Experts were consulted and many opinions were gathered. If the current government does not like the Bill then I suggest it would be better to amend it - alter the parts that they cannot live with.

It took years to create the cap and trade bill. There will be costly legal implications by cancelling it entirely. So lets save a lot of money and time and just change the parts that don't work.

Climate change is a serious threat to our economy and a strain on all nations that will have to absorb displaced persons from areas of the world that have become inhospitable.

This not just an environmental issue . In my opinion, failure to reduce carbon emissions will affect every level of our society.

Amend, revise but don't scrap it.
