I oppose the plan being put forward for this land. The new rules on housing creation seem to be used as a free pass to approve development that is not responsible. That land is beside the highway and has no link to any other residential areas. It is clearly commercial/employment type of area and now it is being rushed through to approval of residential space. Looking at the timeline of events, its seems like this proposal is not supported by the planning department. Speaking as a resident of the nearby subdivisions we are already suffering with terrible traffic that is impossible to navigate at certain points of the day. Nothing has been done to address this, and now the idea is to add four more towers. The citizens of Vaughn who already live in that area will pay an unfair price for this additional condo development - it will become impossible to live our lives, get to and from work and bring our kids to their activities during the week. We moved to Vaughan for quality of life and that is fast diminishing with this plan and others like it.
