Have any environmental impact studies or traffic studies been completed to ascertain if this is a viable location for a community of that size and density? If not, why is this development being pushed through?
Wasn't Mayor DelDuca going to help reduce the traffic congestion within Vaughan? I fail to see how the addition of a community this size in a location that is zoned for business and off a road (Langstaff) that is already congested and limited to expansion on account of the 400 overpass will help to reduce or control the traffic congestion within Vaughan and fulfill an election statement/promise.
To me this appears to be an inappropriate use of MZO. There are other areas within Vaughan that better align with the city's growth strategy.
