I am submitting comments on behalf of the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority. We are supportive of this effort to refine Regulation 828. Conservation Authorities are large landowners within NEPOSS and are partners in its implementation. Modifications to the regulation that will assist in implementing NEPOSS include improved definitions; broader set of exemptions that apply specifically to Public Bodies; and a recommendation to create a self-assessment process.
