Maple Heights Non-Profit Housing Corporation - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) for 1108 Queen Street, in the Township of Wilmot, Ontario, for the establishment of a replacement subsurface disposal works for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of domestic sewage with a maximum design capacity of 15,000 litres per day, to service the existing Maple Heights Seniors Residence.

The replacement sewage system will consist of a tertiary treatment system which includes an equalization tank (flow balancing), a sludge storage & primary clarifier tank, two bioreactors & a secondary clarifier tank, an anoxic bioreactor & a third bioreactor tank, and a tertiary clarifier & effluent pump tank, followed by an existing Filter Bed.

The system will be designed to produce Level IV quality effluent complete with nitrate reduction.
